The public is invited to join us for the Mayday Drowning Prevention Expo on May 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – noon at the North Port Aquatic Center (6205 W. Price Blvd).
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about local water safety resources, participate in exciting lifeguard games, find family-friendly activities, and meet Josh the Otter, who has an important lesson about water safety for kids. Various vendors will also be onsite sharing educational resources for drowning prevention.
Those in attendance are asked to practice good physical distancing. All attendees who aren’t in the water are encouraged to wear masks when proper physical distancing cannot be maintained. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
